Guide Dogs NSW/ACT partnered with the Mirri Mirri team to create a culturally safe and digitally accessible learning module as part of their Reconciliation Action Plan.
Together, we developed Ngiyani: Working Together, a resource designed to be inclusive for everyone, including people with low vision or blindness, while strengthening cultural understanding and supporting culturally responsive service delivery.
The collaboration evolved into a broader learning opportunity whereby Guide Dogs NSW/ACT shared their expertise in digital accessibility, allowing us to embed these features into the eLearning resource. This not only benefits users of Ngiyani: Working Together, but all future users of eLearning resources developed by Mirri Mirri.
One user stated "the module flowed really well. It was clear, concise and very informative."
Creating accessible resources is important to us and we feel fortunate to have collaborated with Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, an organisation that genuinely cares about making learning inclusive for all.
