Bryanna and Dean's Maternity Leave
Big News! Dean and Bryanna are heading off on their Maternity leave! The office will be a little quiet (or a little too peaceful), without them. The GO Foundation
Adam Goodes and Michael O’Loughlan may be recognised as amongst the greatest to have played the game of AFL, but away from the field their work is just as inspiring. Culture, Connection and a Few Dance Moves at Central Coast Sports College!
There’s something special about returning to Central Coast Sports College; the energy, the curiosity, and how students throw themselves (sometimes quite literally) into every cultural experience we bring. This week, our Mirri Mirri facilitators spent the day delivering hands-on cultural activities, from spear throwing and fire making, to weaving, art, storytelling, and a few very memorable rounds of dancing. Celebrating 30 Years Of NASCA
On Friday 17th of October, Mirri Mirri joined Lendlease at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) in Redfern to celebrate 30 years of the National Aboriginal Sports Corporation Australia (NASCA). In 1995 David Liddiard founded NASCA, which supports Indigenous students during difficult times, including cultural loss, racism, bullying and intergenerational trauma.
