Mirri Mirri and Healthy Harold

Last week, Mirri Mirri met an exceptionally famous figure..a figure who has rubbed shoulders (or necks) with Princess Diana, Jamie Oliver and our own Jessica Rowe. 

This figure has an incredible face attached to an insanely long neck! 

Drum roll… it’s Healthy Harold! 

Healthy Harold, the lovable giraffe, has been a part of LifeEd since 1979! He’s a loyal and passionate advocate for the health and safety of all Australian children and families. Out of all of the Mirri Mirri team, Paul was jumping up and down with excitement to meet such an iconic figure. 

Alongside LifeEd, Healthy Harold has been visiting schools for over 45 years! He has been very committed! Some say that the unique spots on a giraffe are a metaphor for the uniqueness of each child. Others think he's so healthy, it's only natural to look up to him. 

Our day with Healthy Harold included walking around The Sydney CBD and spotting out sights of significance. Most importantly, Paul was given a Plushie of Healthy Harold which now sits alongside his computer.
