An evening at the Governor General's House

It was an invitation we could not refuse. On the 12th of February, Paul and Janine were invited to Government House to help celebrate the 20th anniversary of, Victims and Witnesses Court Support Service (VWCSS).
After a brisk 15 minute walk, the hustle and bustle of the CBD was quickly forgotten as they entered the beautiful Botanic Gardens on which Government House sits within. In addition to celebrating 20 years of wonderful service, VWCSS also acknowledged a number of long term volunteers who received a certificate from Her Excellency, the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC.
It was great to reconnect with VWCSS volunteers who had attended our training sessions last year. We recognise the important work they do and look forward to continuing our partnership into 2026.
