Are you drawn to the ancient Indigenous crafts that guard secrets lost to time? Do you want to increase wellbeing amongst your team whilst simultaneously learning about First Nations practices? If yes, then Mirri Mirri has the solution for you with our art and weaving workshops.

We provide fun and exciting art workshops, delivering an opportunity for staff to create and keep their own individual artwork whilst learning about the significance of art for Aboriginal people. The workshop, delivered in a therapeutic environment, enables participants to learn about Aboriginal Art and weaving, its symbolism and techniques.

Weaving has been a part of First Nations culture for thousands of years. Our workshop teaches the importance of weaving and provides a cultural experience where you get to create your own culturally weaved bracelet. Whilst doing so, you get to yarn and connect with others through meaningful conversation, sharing stories and culture.

Feel free to enquire about how your workplace can join in these cultural experiences!

Mirri Mirri acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land which we work, live and play. We acknowledge the wonderful elders who provide guidance, wisdom and care. We also acknowledge it is our responsibility to continue informing about First Nations peoples, cultures and histories in a manner that is respectful of those who have come before us.
