The world is finally beginning to realise what we have known all along…Janine is wonderful, talented and incredibly gifted.

She has been nominated as a finalist for the Young Achiever Awards for 2025 in the category of Aboriginal Education Council, Aboriginal Education Award. This category recognises Indigenous and Non-Indigenous young people engaged in education of Aboriginal people, education about Aboriginal people and culture, or education with Aboriginal people.

We have been so fortunate to witness Janine grow and develop into the amazing leader and educator she is today. She has delivered hundreds of educational workshops to both younger and adult audiences that inform about Aboriginal people and culture. We often receive emails from participants sharing the impacts her workshop had on them and how much they enjoyed the learning experience.

Good luck ‘Neeny’ and whether you win or not, you are our Young Achiever of the year.
