Empowering Diversity with ACCIONA

ACCIONA, a global leader in sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy solutions, has partnered with Mirri Mirri to deliver a pilot program aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion among its staff. We were tasked with designing and delivering a program that supports inclusion in the workplace.

 

Diversity and inclusion have become increasingly recognised as crucial components of organisational success and employee well-being. With workplaces becoming more diverse than ever before, companies like ACCIONA are acknowledging the importance of creating environments where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.

 

The pilot program, delivered to a group of ACCIONA staff, focuses on various aspects of diversity and inclusion, including priming, unconscious bias, cultural safety, and strategies for creating an inclusive workplace. Through interactive sessions, case studies, discussions, and activities, participants are able  to challenge any preconceived notions and foster empathy, understanding and inclusion.

 

Feedback has been very positive, with many attendees expressing gratitude for the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about what it actually means to have a diverse and inclusive workplace.

 

With the successful launch of the diversity and inclusion workshop, the program will now be rolled out to all ACCIONA people leaders. Mirri Mirri would like to thank Romina, Chris, Emma and Trista from ACCIONA for getting this program off the ground and we look forward to our ongoing partnership and delivering this important program.
