Filmmakers in the house

Move over Spike Lee. Take a seat Greta Gerwig…Dean and Kara have entered the building.

For the last few weeks, Dean and Kara have been working on a film resource which will be used in our workshops to inform participants about significant moments in our country’s history.

It was a step into the unknown as Dean had his first go at doing Voice Overs, Kara took on the role of Director and together they delved into the world of Adobe After Effects, illustrator and Premiere Pro. Youtube suddenly became their best friend as they painstakingly began increasing their understanding and skill set with each of the programs. 

The film resource is almost near completion and we are really excited to begin including it in our workshops. It will allow participants to learn about some significant moments and people in our country’s history including the 1967 referendum, Jack Patten and a sporting team that created Australian history.
