For the second year running, Mirri Mirri partnered with Paramount Australia to deliver the 'Leaders of Tomorrow' program at their Sydney studios. The program brings female First Nations High School students together with inspiring Paramount Australia mentors to participate in workshops focused on leadership, culture and career aspirations.
This year students from Matraville Sports High School attended and had an opportunity to experience pitching a reality show to Paramount Australia's Head of Development, learn about inspiring women in media and hear from Beverley McGarvey, Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer & Head of Paramount +.
The program was rewarding for both students and mentors with Paramount+ Marketing Manager Emma saying "it was such a special opportunity to get to know these students and to be able to give my time and share my experiences to hopefully help them explore some of the really fun and interesting roles available in the media industry. I was in awe of the confidence the girls had when approaching the activities - in just a few hours they ideated, developed and pitched a reality TV show to Paramount Executives.”
A huge thank you to everyone at Paramount Australia and Matraville Sports High school for helping create a wonderful and impactful day.
