Culture, Connection and a Few Dance Moves at Central Coast Sports College!
There’s something special about returning to Central Coast Sports College; the energy, the curiosity, and how students throw themselves (sometimes quite literally) into every cultural experience we bring. This week, our Mirri Mirri facilitators spent the day delivering hands-on cultural activities, from spear throwing and fire making, to weaving, art, storytelling, and a few very memorable rounds of dancing. Speaking of dancing, Dean showed students how to bust a few moves.

Celebrating 30 Years Of NASCA
On Friday 17th of October, Mirri Mirri joined Lendlease at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) in Redfern to celebrate 30 years of the National Aboriginal Sports Corporation Australia (NASCA). In 1995 David Liddiard founded NASCA, which supports Indigenous students during difficult times, including cultural loss, racism, bullying and intergenerational trauma.
